Somanshu is a self-taught songwriter-producer-pianist who started to play the piano at the age of 15. Hailing from a small town near Nainital - Bhowali, born to a humble family, music was always a hobby and never a profession. But, the calling eventually led him to pursue music full-time and gave a shot at every opportunity that came across.
He started his YouTube channel in 2012, covering popular Bollywood, EDM, and English songs, and has been supported by artists like Alan Walker, KSHMR, Arijit Singh, Amaal Mallik, Sachin-Jigar, Sharib Toshi, Gareth Emery etc.
He then tried his hands-on music production late in 2017, which found support from Zaeden, Lost Stories, Pritam, which led him to produce the Biggest Bollywood Hit of 2020 - Shayad (From "Love Aaj Kal")
He is currently touring with Arijit Singh and aims to change the Indian Pop Industry, bridging the international gap by introducing the right sounds, melodies to whatever he does.
